Our History

Drexan™ HeatTracer was formed by a joint partnership between Drexan™ Corporation and Fujikura Ltd.  The combined forces of these two well-established entities results in benefits to our customers, to industry and society in general.

Drexan™ was founded in 1928.  From its roots planted 80 years ago, Drexan™ has served process industries by representing market-leading suppliers.  Drexan™ has evolved to become a respected North American-wide manufacturer and supplier with multiple divisions.

Established in 1885, Fujikura Ltd. is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of power cable and optical fiber products with sales in excess of $5 Billion.  Our expertise in polymers and electrical devices and a constant eye to “Kaizen” — continuous improvement — is demonstrated in the ISO 9001:2000 certification and has bolstered our longevity and growth.  Our ISO 140001 certification illustrates our intensive commitment to bettering the environment – a responsibility that we embraced long before “being green” became popular.
