T-Panel Snow Melting System

The T3 is a double panel system designed to be installed on eave of your roof as part of a snow melting system.  When installed, the system is designed to eliminate ice and snow, keeping your home safer and reducing the risk of winter damage.  This system is 18” wide and is guaranteed to eliminate ice and snow from the entire area of the panel.  Each system can be installed on new or existing roofs and the heating system is self regulated, saving you time and money.

Each panel is powder coated with a durable finish that will best compliment the colours of your home.  We have many panel colours to choose from. (see below)

T-Panel T3 System

The T-Panel System Package includes two 6" Snap Loc Tops, 6" Eave Base Panel, 6" Extension Base, and T3 Expansion Joint Cap (EJC).  The T3 System requires 3ft of Heat Trace cable per foot of panel.

10001-TT:  T3 Panel System (18"x 6' Panel) with 3’ Heat Trace per foot of Panel (Includes 2 Tops, Base, Extension, Transition and EJC.)

10005-TT:  T3 Panel (18"x 6' Panel) Without Heat Cable (Includes 2 Tops, Base, Transition and EJC.)

Panel Colours

T-Panels are available in a stock selection of 8 colours; or pick virtually any custom color to coordinate with new or existing roofs.  The powder coating provides a durable, attractive finish that will best complement the look of your home.  Our colour coatings carry a 20-year warranty.  A 6-foot Architectural Cover is also available to encapsulate the panels for a cleaner look.

Compatible Heating Cables

T-Panels have 2 sets of heat channels for 3 different types of heat sources:

• 3/8” PEX Hydronic Radiant Tubing

• Commercial Grade-Self Regulating Heat Cable (5, 6, 8 or 10 Watt per foot in 100-130 VAC or 208-277 VAC)

• Resistance Cables

Panel Lengths

6 feet per panel.  Cut panels to modify fit.

Components Supplied

6” Eave Base Panel, Two 6” Snap Loc Top Panel, Transition Panel, expansion joint caps, end caps and 3 ft of heating cable per foot of panel.

Other Available Items

• Self regulating heat cable for gutters and downspouts.

• 30 mA Ground Fault Protection plug kits (120 volt or 240 volt kits are available).

Electrical and Environmental Requirements

Article 426-28 of the N.E.C. requires 30 mA Ground Fault circuit protection for snow and ice melting applications.
